GTA was the first game I played on PSP, and I was not disappointed. I wish it could've been longer, but that's something I say about every GTA... so yeah.
I had a couple of issues with the game, though. The targeting is a problem, especially since the game doesn't always target the biggest threat on the screen (I'll be doing a mission and fighting some people off and I'll end up targeting a pedestrian, as opposed to the guy with the AK-47....), but it's still not that bad. A quick fix by pressing the D-pad. The only other issue was that you can't steer your car while looking to the side. It's never really given me a problem, but it's really only an issue since you could do it in the previous games.
By far, though, the coolest feature is custom tracks! I love this feature, especially since I'm not too fond of the radio stations in the game (I'm so mad that they changed Rise FM. It was my fave in 3).

Yeah, basically you convert mp3's to .toc files using
PSP EAC Audio Converter and then change the file exension to '.gta'
You need to create a folder in the Saved Data folder on your PSP called
ULUS10041CUSTOMTRACKS
Then just drag and drop the .gta files into this folder and turn the custom tracks option on the audio menu to 'on'. From there on out, the custom tracks work like a normal radio station; you use the d-pad to change tracks, and the track titles are whatever the filename was (but without the .gta extension).

No prob. It took me awhile to figure it out, too, so I just thought I'd pass on the knowledge.
