Thinking of some DS games

With my lack of DS games (only mario 64 and the metroid hunters demo) I figure I should get some with my christmas money.
I think i'll be sure to get jump superstars
And I'm also thinking of Mario Kart DS, Lost in Blue or Trace Memory. (Out of those 3, which do you recommend?) Are there any other ideas I should look into?
And no animal crossings, not my thing

Mario Kart, I really wouldn't reccomend Trace Memory or Lost in Blue, they both seem too short. Mario Kart on the other hand = Fun in a tiny black cart.

I'm probably buying a DS the day after Christmas, or very soon after, so...yeah. This helps. I was looking into Trace Memory. My ideas right now are:
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Mario Kart DS
If I have enough money, a few others.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney looks AMAZING. It got ranked #1 one gamefaqs top DS games list

Also, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is an excellent game. I also highly recommend Kirby's Canvas Curse, which is one of the best games to take advantage of the DS's unique capabilities.

I would recomend Phoenix Wright or Animal Crossing. Cart racing is good and all but it gets old (but most cart games do to me, but if they dont then i would suggest that as well)

I heard Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrows is a really good play.
Monkey J. Luffy is desperate for a Jumpr Superstar release in the US.

Not going to happen, sorry. America would have to license with WAY too many companies. It's safe to say they aren't going to
It has been decided! Two I am DEFINATELY getting are as follows
Osu! Takate! Ouendan!

I've got Mario Kart DS, and it's great. And yeah, Desperado, it may get old, but not as quickly as some of the other games. This one if FULL of extras.
Castlevania DS is good, but kinda short (and easy) to me.
I still gotta get Mario and Luigi and at least try Kirby Canvas Curse.
And I'm getting Jump Superstars.
Oh, MSP. Be sure to tell me how Ouendan is. I'm thinking about that game as well...

mario kart is online, so it lasts a longer, especially if you can learn to "snake" (which i'm told many people online do)
I got advance wars DS for christmas, and it's decently fun, so that may be another option
