In Shadow of the collossus, I've been trying to complete the hard mode time attack for a while now, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to beat the 3rd collosi in the allowed five minutes. ACK!!! Anyone else here done it who can offer some pointers? I've tried umpteen times now and am really starting to get frustrated... :bang:

{hehehe, tis way off topic! } but no, not yet. My friend bought it and is moaning about how difficult it is to unlock stuff now. Last I heard she was stuck on Kisame...couldn't beat him with Gai. Hopefully I'll visit her this weekend and get a chance to play it for myself...but I'm currently more tempted to buy the new Bleach game for GC.

I take it you bought number 4. Do you like it?

Oh yeah, this one was hard. I'd say it's definitely the toughest of the hard mode time attacks. I beat it with mere seconds to spare. The best way to go about it is to attack the symbol on his head first. Rest on his back until your grip meter is full, then go to the one on his arm. If you can, position yourself to where you can jump from his arm to his stomach. If you aren't able to do this(I wasn't), you're going to have to get him to attack you and climb up again(hiting him in his soft spot with arrows usually makes him attack...as long as you're far enough away). Either way, always do the stomach last since it's the easiest to get too if you're knocked off.

After you beat all the time attacks, the only thing left is the secret garden.

I would certainly have to agree! Thanks for the advice, at least now i know I'm not missing some vital tactic. That's roughly what I've been trying to do...he just shakes his head so much I run out of time before I get to his waist. Guess I'll just have to get lucky!

Yeah, you pretty much have to play perfect to beat him. But beware, the 15th and the water colossi(I forget his number, but it's not the 7th) are tough as well.

Unlocking Kisame was hard, he blocks a lot and drains your chakra with his shaving thingy. I have 2 characters left that I need to unlock! CS2 Sasuke and One-Tailed Foxy Naruto thing (final forms in the naruto/sasuke battle)

Yeah, Kisame was tough, but I beat him for her last night! woohoo! It was so close though. But that took so long, I didn't get to try anything else in the game before I had to leave.

Yeah, I only have five left to do, 3, 12, 14, 15, 16. Yeah 12 is the 'water bull' and after giving that a try, I realized it would require a perfect round as well. I don't think 15 will give me a much trouble as number 3 is, but I'll probably eat my words later...

The 12th one was a royal pain in the... I must have spent a good hour and a half with that one. I didn't figure out that you could hit his teeth to make him go towards the structures so I just sat up there and waited for him to do it manually. I don't think I wanna try that one on hard mode for awhile, because that fight got to me.
