The worst dubbing ever

Well, after a long night online, I stumbled across a site that has the supposed worst voice acting in video games of all time. It even has a list of the top five. Much to the chagrin of Resident Evil fans, it only made number four...but with actors this bad, it's hard to tell in some cases. This site not only lists the games, but even includes clips so you can judge for yourself!

The top 5, by the way, are:

5. Shenmue II
4. Resident Evil
3. Megaman 8
2. Tenchu
1. Last Alert

I was also pleased to see a couple of ones I knew personally on the list, such as Star Ocean 2 and Megaman X7. Though I'm surprised that Unlimited SaGa wasn't on it.

What games do you think had horrendous acting that aren't on this site? Do you agree with their top five?

I also hear that Shadow the Hedgehog has horrible voice acting.

That it does and confusing story, totally unresponsive camera, sloppy unsonic controls, and did i mention the story is completely random and makes no sense?

I haven't played any of the games other than Resident Evil on that list. (At least, not in English.) I would have to say that Resident Evil ORIGINAL holds as the worst acting I've ever heard in a video game. Only Resident Evil Survivor comes close.

Shenmue II is pretty bad.

"Can I ask you a question?"
"I don't know!"
"Oh. Okay."

But yeah, I think Last Alert is a bit worse than RE. Sting-ee is classic. Along with,

"No one can hire my feelings!"

What's bad, is that Resident Evil retains it's English voices in the Japanese version. I would hate for any Japanese gamers to think we actually talk that way.

Shadow the Hedgehog actually isn't that bad.

Personally...I hated Megaman X7's voice acting...and everything from the Star Ocean series. @_@; With the exception of Albel and Cliff in SO3...

Dunno if the game is even out yet or if that was just from downloads... but if it's the actual game, do you know if there's a billingual function to it like on Sonic Heroes?

Well, I thought Resident Evil had the worst dub ever. But - They actually topped it. It seemed impossible; but it was done. God knows how this game actually managed to get released:

Yeah I saw the Castle Shikigami one. My favorite quote is number 9. It's long but I love how he's like "Never forget the duty of an American...this fight is for Japan, for friendship." Lol I mean seriously how could that "voice actor" actually say that, it's ridiculous and contradictory.

I love the commentary on all of the Namco lightgun games for "Don't come!":lol:

The game is out already. =3 The story's shoddy, but the gameplay is amazing. I haven't looked for a billingual function, I'll have to look. ^_^

The Sonic Adventute and Heroes games (including Shadow the Hedgehog).

(And the American One Piece: Grand Battle, for obvious reasons. >_>)

I wonder if the DS version of RE is gonna retain the lameness.

I'm really hoping they redub RE for it's debut on the DS... It was a good game, but impossible to take seriously due to the translation and "acting".

They sure didn't redub for the Director's Cut. I found it rather amusing that RE didn't list the actor's last names in the credits...

ok you have to have played the mega man games to get this but its pretty funny if you do get it
