Ikusagami, or more correctly Ikusa Gami, is a soon to be release action game by Genki for the PS2. The game is set in the feudal-era of Japan, and as the name suggest you play as a insanely powerful warrior. But you also control a army. What makes this game so special is that there can be as many as 65,535 enemies or people in your army at any given time on screen. That guys is an amazing feat in itself considering they're doing it on the PS2. A system that is consider the weakest of the current generation.

A promo video of the game in action. Its in Japanese unforunately.

Man! I hope a game like this comes to the west. It would really help the PS2 go out with a big bang.

I personally think this game will probably make it to the US and Canada. I'm sure one US publisher noticed it by now, and is probably planning a localization. Of course, if it doesn't make it to the west, there is always Ninety-Nine Nights.
