Bouncer wrote:Poor controller??!!??!!....every gamer preffers the comfy PS controller over anything.......$199 version has modem and everything included. -> and 179.99 version has nothing.....technically PS2 is only 149.99 but they include the PS2 game ATV offraid fury so the value can stay high at 179.99.
if you wait a while they it'll drop down to 150. just wait and see.

As for the Gamecube controller, it also has poor button placement, particularly the little yellow stick (whatever it is called...).

Do the PS2 controllers have rumble features? I was just wondering.
cbwing0 wrote:My vote is for the PS2, for reasons that I have explained numerous times on other threads.
I don't have any problems with the PS2 controller. On the other hand, I find the Xbox and Gamecube controllers to be somewhat annoying. The oddly shaped buttons on the Xbox controller are stiff, and the placement is a bit too close (not to mention the fact that it is a blatant and inferior rip-off of the Dreamcast controller). As for the Gamecube controller, it also has poor button placement, particularly the little yellow stick (whatever it is called...).

Online service is not "still up in the air." Many great games already use it, including SOCOM, Return of the King, Champions of Norrath, and FFXI.
