Evergrace

I wish someone was paying me money to play this game. Actually, if you turn down the BGM to 0, it makes it 50% better. Then if you play Rhapsody instead of the BGM, it makes it 75% better.

I like games a lot, but this one ... I feel bad for the people that had to work on it. There are some very good concepts in it, but they just get eaten alive by the pooishness of the rest of the game. I think the programming staff doubled as voice actors - just a hunch.

I will finish it, though. When I do, I'll let you know if I feel proud for sticking it out and beating such a low quality game, or stupid for wasting 6 hours of my life.

Anyone else ever play it? (AKA get duped into buying a used copy because of the pretty cover art and misleading description on the back.)

Exactly what is the game about? Is it Christian? Any links to more info?

No, it's not Christian. It's about two people that get sucked into an alternate world that was only a legend in their world. http://ps2.ign.com/objects/013/013232.html

The dress-up system is the only cool part about it - that and you have to upkeep your equipment.

Whoa, I thought it was new, but man, this is an OLD game.

For those that haven't heard of this before, the characters in Evergrace will actually wear the clothing, armor, accessories and weapons that you equip them with.

Yawn. Already done in a better RPG by the name of Legend of Legaia for the PS1.

Which was a very interesting game, btw. I liked the stacking attack approach.
