For those of you unfortunate enough to buy the original piece of junk Atari Flashback, you got poor reconstructions of the original games running on the ubiquitous NES-on-a-chip hardware (which also powered the pathetic Intellivision 25-in-one and a few others).
Now A2600 fans will get a real VCS-on-a-chip, running real 6502 code with flicker and all. Plus two joysticks (or use your old Atari 2600 joysticks!), and if you're handy with a soldering iron, you can solder in a cartridge port and use it like a *real* Atari 2600! I already have a 2600A, but for those of you who want something smaller or newer, this might be your ticket.
Certainly it's a great way to get the games, and unlike the original 2600, this has true A/V out.
