Ape Escape

Ape Escape has to be my favorite adventure game of all time....no, it definately is. I don`t know about you, but I really dislike videogames where you have to do all these tasks to get a golden Coin and you have to have 500 to open the door and fight the final cakewalk of a boss. Spyro is an exception.

Ape Escape is just so fun! The challenge rate is perfect as well as the legnth and the storyline and the characters are awesome....yeah.

Spector is a cool villian, jake is wicked cool, and Jake is the man. Natilie was one of the characters you wanted to end up with themain character despite her annoying personalitie. The Professor was a professor...that`s all you really nned to know.

Now for the sequel......

The main character Jimmy was annoying....Jake is gone.....Spector is still cool.....
The gameplay is still there.....the graphics are more "Childish"......Spike appears once, but when you beat the game 100% you can play as him......the storyline is less creative.....it`s just all around worse.

I have a question. For the PSP, I saw "Ape Escape" and "Ape Escape: On The Loose". I`m aware "Ape Escape" was the remake, but what`s "On the Loose....?"

Well, keep playing, man. I once beat the whole game in one day when I was 10.
I didn`t catch ALL the monkeys, just beat Spector`s new Castle.

I don't know about the official games, but I do love the ape-escape mini-game on MGS3... "Gotcha!" Hehehe

I suggest you buy Ape Escape at your local gamestop. It`s probably like 3 bucks and isn`t hard to find. The 2nd one was so bad it was discontinued. The 2nd was like a corny version of the 1st with a different story.
