A source who shall remain unnamed and yet very, very, very loved for this information if it is confirmed recently told me that there was to be a new, fourth installment in the Jak and Daxter series. Which makes me very, very happy. Anyone have any info or links on this?

Unfortunately, it's only Mario Kart/Twisted Metal-like combat racing game. Still, should be fun, but Mario Kart is enough for me.
In other news, Daxter is getting his own adventure on the PSP.

Doesn't look like Naughty Dog is involved in that one, though.
Sorry Ash, but it looks like you'll have to wait til' something is announced for the PS3. -if you want a true Jak and Daxter adventure.

Jak II was a great game. I plan to pick up Jak 3 when the price drops.
Yeah, Jak X is going to be a "Kart-racing" type game. I'm not really interested in it, but it should be decent.

Need For Speed Underground is fun and it`s a racing game.
Honestly, Jak and Daxter was OK, but got boring in numerous parts.
I heard Jak 2 was awesome and Jak 3 was even better.
Out of Curiosity, what made the second two T?

You heard right. JD one was like mario sunshine minus mario. It was very happy and bright and almost comic. Jak 2 was 180 degrees different. It was dark, angsty, and suddenly you're using guns and tossing about profanities. That's what make J2 and 3 Ts: it went from a happy go lucky platformer to an all out, in-depth action title with the profanity and gun-toting action to go with it.

Sounds good. Aside from profanities.

You forgot the ever famous "Jak waits in Line", "Jak gets a Job", and "Jak waits longer for the new release of FF Than Zelda": The movie.

Ok, if the third one on the list was supposively making fun of me, I just have to say:
"That wasn`t funny."
Yeahand junk like Mario, I really hope Jak doesn`t go with sports like Mario did. Though, Mario Tennise was ok and the Mario Parties were fun (Oh wait, is board gaming a sport?) so I could see a little bit of goodness coming out of Jak if he made sports games.....excepy I really hope he doesn`t go in that direction because I tried out Jak II and it rocks. The first seemed like a cheap imitation cross of crash bandicoot and spyro.

Don't forget "Jak goes to the mail to pick up his social security check."

You mean "Jak Gets The Mail II: Jak goes to the Mail for a Social Security Check instead of what he did in the first One" that game got some hot reviews. It`s turnbased though.
Seriously, I Think I found a good screenshot for Jak X. It looks more like a "Spyhunter" style than a racing style.

Actually they were made by the same people.
