Wasn`t a thread about this just made. Well, I don`t blame you for not seeing it. It`s titled : " the jack of all trades".
Did you see the PS3 by the way?! It a circle-shaped console.

If you want to see how awesome this system really is, Microsoft has released three videos previewing it. Here are a few direct links that you can download them off of.
Direct Download Links
- Test Drive Unlimited - Next Gen Video
- XBOX 360 OurColony Developer Video
- XBOX 360 Game Videos
There's also a video out there concerning the Nintendo ON Revolution. But it's still being decided whether or not it's fake. A lot of people say it's fake but no one can prove it. I might link it later.
I also have some interesting information about the features of the XBOX 360 that I might post later as well.

Can you give a source? Some pics? A reliable resource? Something?

wasn't that a fake picture of the ps3?

Unless you work for Sony you haven't seen a real picture of a PS3. That circular silver one isn't the real thing.

Ok fine, crush my imagination. I told like half my friends......why the hell do they put fake systems up?! Do they get like more money out of it?

Please watch your language here.
Ephesians 4:29
People put up "fake systems" for one of three reasons. To stur up trouble, to start rumors, or for recognition. All in all it come down to selfishness. It's annoying, yes. But it's something we need to deal with. It's nothing new and it's definitely not going away.
My recommendation to you is to not spread these rumors until you have an actual and reliable source confirming it's real. Don't take everything at face value and always check your sources.

Ok fine, crush my imagination.
And how you think I feel? I have to wait even longer before finding
anything about the Revolution...
The 360... well, I read the review and it seems alright, but not too much different from the XBOX, really. I mean, did you read the
entire Gamespot review? Check the editor reviews about, then voice your opinion about it. I'm not trying to start anything, but I agree with they say about it.

It's called a preview not a review. It's foolish to review a console because it's only as good as the games that come out on it hence why any publication worth it's weight idoesn't do it. And have you seen the thing in person? Have you played the thing?
I get so sick of people judging stuff they haven't played or even seen yet if you want to believe every word an editor says then fine. But get over it people all three systems will have their strengths and weaknesses and good games of their own. Some people just can't handle the fact that the Japanese don't have a monopoly on game consoles anymore.
Can we combine these threads or something this is really confusing having two?

The XBOX 360 surpasses the XBOX by far. Even the model for the system looks better. You'll be very suprised to see what Microsoft has in store for its players. Did anyone watch the videos I posted? Look at the gameplay footage. Anyways, there's a lot about the XBOX 360 that many people don't know. But I can assure you, it's very different from the XBOX. I'll post some info on it later.
As for the Nintendo ON Revolution... There was one video released but it is still under debate whether or not it is fake. Everyone is 90% sure it's fake but there's no real proof. At least, none that I have found. It's times like these that I wish Nintedo, Sony, and Microsoft would disown these false videos and pictures. Oh well. I just hope the ON Revolution doesn't turn out to be another GameCube
So far Sony is being, and always has been, the best at secrecy when it comes to releasing a new product. There are NO real pictures of the PlayStation 3 and NO real videos of it or its gameplay as of yet except for the ones shown at E3.
Also, I agree with Yojimbo. You shouldn't judge a system poorly until you've played it. The same goes for games. If you haven't played it, than really you don't have a valid reason to criticize it. Something else to take into consideration is where you get the information from. A lot of these major informers (GameSpot, GamePro, PSM, XBM, GameSpy, IGN, etc..) are sometimes biased and will compliment things much more than they deserve. Sometimes even these companies are endorsed by people like Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft to make their system look as pretty as possible to help sales. Like a company endorsing an athlete to advertise their product, so do game companies endorse magazines and websites for advertising their product. That's not to say that there isn't any truth to what they have to say, a lot of it is very true. But it's something to consider.

You can't go around believing everything you hear of in the world of video games, especially if you read them of message boards online. I'm one of those see-before-you-believe gamers. I'm serious, don't go chasing video game rumors unless the develepor says it's true. I'm excited about the future Xbox coming out, but there are people out there spreading rumors(i.e. pictures). If this doesen't stop, these rumors might ruin us all.

Why don't they just start making computers already? They look the same. Well I hope the games are good because that is the most important part.

We basically know everything about the PS3 and 360 now, but Nintendo seems to be enjoying keeping things under wraps. Actually, my friend pointed out that they're probably doing this because they don't want their ideas stolen again. From what I've heard, Nintendo seems to be the first one to have done the rumble pack
and the analog stick. Correct me if I'm wrong (but show proof if you correct me).

The Xbox 360 looks quite nice. I will probably buy one at launch, because (as of now) it is scheduled to be released several months before the PS3 or Revolution.
The games I looking forward to most are Perfect Dark Zero, Quake 4, 99 Nights, and Dead or Alive (although I might hold out for Tekken 6 on the PS3).
I do have one concern about the new consoles. All of them use wireless controllers, which means that they require separate power sources (rechargeable batteries in most cases) in order to function. This would seem to make it difficult to play for long periods of time without having stop and recharge the batteries. If the batteries don't last at least 12 hours, then I would prefer wired controllers.

We got the 360 and the ps3 anounced. I wonder if Nintendo is going to wait a little longer or try and release theres at the same time as the other 2.

I know the Bluetooth PS3 controllers have 24 hours of battery life and that's plenty. Not sure about 360's but I imagine it's at least 12.

This has to be said...
X-box 360 was a MAJOR diisapointment for me. The games looked about 10% better than the best X-box games.
However seeing who the creator of Final Fantasy will be making at least two games for it Ill still wind up getting one.

Ever since Microsoft announced that the X-box 360 would be shown at MTV, I knew they would disappoint me. Boy, I was right. Microsoft really messed up for E3 this year. Almost all the information that they released during the show was already previously known, thanks to a downright lame commercial divided by commercials at MTV and all of the Internet leaks.
The whole show was filled with your typical marketing without showing what you really have to back those words up. In other words, Microsoft throughout the entire time at E3 to beat people over the heads with how “coolâ€

Link, you took the word right outta my mouth.
I mean all the stuff they were talking about sounded to me like this
"Look at all the cool stuff you can do with X-box 360...Oh! if you REALLY really wanna play some good games well thats coming too BUT didja know you can listen to music over the internet on it..."
But I believe Sony called X-box 360 Playstation 1.5 but I could have miss heard and what you quoted makes more sense.

Those things are all very true. I think Microsoft is being way too cocky. They're acting like Sony was right before the PS2 was released. Saying how the PS2 would be the great zenith of console gaming and have all this stuff that never materialized in it's lifetime. I think just like with the PS2 after launch there won't be any really good games for six months to a year. And yes none of the games so far seem to be really heavy hitters that stand out above the rest. Gears of War and Dead or Alive 4, and Perfect Dark Zero are some promising exclusive ones and Quake 4, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Call of Duty 2 will be great for it even if they're multiplatform.
I'll be getting one regardless along with a PS3. But Microsoft needs to be focusing more on the games over all the cool hardware and Live features.
(**SOAPBOX**)That is insinuating that asking "Why the h***" would be more harmfull in some way than just asking "Why on earth" since they amount to the same thing. Neither one would be "uplifting" and fulfill the rest of that verse, but would both be rather neutral. And "hell" used in that way would connect to the fact that it was a diabolical thing to do something fake like that. Perfectly ok, in my opinion and if one were to base it solely on that verse. I think you should avoid those words on the forums in particular because it is AGAINST THE RULES, but I don't think you should base your scolding on single scriptures that flippantly... Instead, do it for valid reasons, such as that of breaking rules... I will get off my soapbox...(**SOAPBOX**)
If the stats end up true for the two systems, PS3 will have X-box beat in several major ways... The most prominent way is, of course, the Blu-ray... Even dual-layered DVD's don't come close to the Blu-ray, and there will also be dual-layered blu-ray... Then there is the graphics card... That's two black marks against X-box... Of course, PS3 is out later and costs about 50 dollars more (not 150 like previously thought) but the blu-ray alone merits a PS3 favor... For me, anyhow... There are some sony haters or just Halo fans who will go for a DVD system over a Blu-Ray system if it means they can play Halo 3 or something like that... That's perfectly fine, but I'll go with the PS3 (I don't have enough money for both... Actually, I don't have enough for one, right now, but I will in about 9 months... )
Of course, X-box is a more powerfull system in every way to the PS2, but I still prefer PS2 due to the games on it I like... I suppose MS fans will feel the same... That's life.
