CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey all, it's Link Antilles here again with another potentially under-looked great game coming in the near future. :sweat:

Advent Rising is an Unreal-powered third-person action adventure (aka 3rd person shooter) game with a story straight from the mind of the famous sci-fi author Orson Scott Card. You know, the guy who wrote the Ender's Game.

I've been watching this game for a long time and hoping for the best for it, because the premise of the game sounds interesting. It's a sci-fi game where you play as a character that slowly transforms into this super powerful super hero during the course of the game. Think Star Wars meets Marvel or the Matrix. The enemies you fight are various alien races that believe humans are a dangerous threat to their existence and are trying to exterminate them before the humans learn of their hidden powers.

i've heard about it and the premise sounds pretty good. i'm sure the storyline will be awesome, but the gameplay is something to be seen...

It's coming to the PC on May 3rd. Yet, oddly the game is suppose to be the begining of a triliogy, which one part is on the PSP.

I hope I catch this when it comes out; however I have limited pocketmoney and no Xbox; which means I'll have to get it for PC. I'll try and catch some reviews of it when it comes out, and make my decision on whether to get it or not. The general story idea sounds good so far.

That's the first day of my finals so I'll be driving over to EB after school and pick it up. Luckily I'll only have two finals the next day and they won't be so bad.

Have you guys heard about the $1,000,000 contest for this? Man they're really trying to market this thing. Since I'll be getting up at like 6 AM for awhile anyway for work I might actually have to see if I can win or something.

Wow, I forget it comes out tomorrow. >.< Unfortunately, I'll have to wait til' next week (next paycheck). Man, so many games, so little money. -Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, Wario Ware: Twisted, Psychonauts, Jade Empire... etc.

Anyways, it's your job to tell us about the game, Yojimbo.

Called EB and Gamespot this morning and they won't have it till the 1st so two more days. And will do.
