Well then you'll love DOA: Ultimate and why can't you get Ninja Gaiden is it because of the rating? Because you obviously don't have to play it infront of her.

Cause Ninja Gaiden's rated M? Well, a lot of the X-box games are rated M.

Not in any particular order, here is the general list must play games on the X-box (I added in the ratings):

1. Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow - T - Stealth Action
2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - T - Awesome Star Wars RPG. Great story, got a twist on par with something from Metal Gear Solid.
3. Mercenaries - T - GTA3 military style.
4. Pyshonuats - T - Hilarious platforming game!
5. Jade Empire - M - Chinese setting RPG with arcade fighting gameplay. Yes, it works and it’s great. Might be right up your alley.
6. Prince of Persia - T - Solid title.
7. Splinter Cell: Chao Theory - M - Easier than the other Splinter Cell games and the best.
8. Burnout 3 - T - A racing game that's pretty much fun for everyone. Two words: Crashing Rocks! -There's even a wrecking mode to see how much damage you can cause.
9. Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 -M- Tactical. Tense. WW 2 shooter. Band of Brothers the game.
10. Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict - M - Mixes first person shooting and melee fighting action almost flawlessly. Great Live game.
11. Panzer Dragoon Orta - T - A forgotten classic. Buy it.
12. Beyond Good & Evil - T - Short, but charming adventure game.

Of course, Halo 1 and 2, Ninja Gaiden, Fable (rental), Soul Calibur II, and DoA Ultimate.

I would like to second Link Antilles' vote for Knights of the Old Republic.

I was totally hooked on the game, and I love the way that you can personalize your character so much. Plus you can be a Sith or a Jedi, or something in between, which is majorly cool, although I'm afraid that I'm too much of a goody-two shoes to play a true Sith Lord.

The only possible downside; tons and tons of talking, if you're not into long bouts of dialogue, beware.

Yeah, Kotor was a pretty addictive game, but I never got to far on the dark side, either. You can be pretty evil.

Kotor II was also great... yet, sadly, it seemed lacking during the second half of the game, because the maker was rushed. I was really disappointed. Hopefully, Kotor III, will fill the plot holes.

Fortunately, it's all well-done and entertaining. Especially, HK-47 and Jolee.

It's so hard being evil, ain't it? But that's prolly a good thing, otherwise I might start to worry. I really enjoyed playing through Sith Lords, but I can't quite bring myself to recommend it for alot of the reasons that you listed. As for the ending, it wasn't really bad, just kinda weirdly anticlimatic.

Couldn't agree with you more, I think I killed about half a day just talking to HK-47

Yeah, I like to be the hero.

The ending was all right, but it felt was to Empire Strikes Back. I really hope for a complete ending in Kotor III.
I did enjoy the mystery of Raven traveling to the outer rim and that you haven't been fighting the true Sith.
 O'yeah, I loved unlocking his history, those were some funny stories. Sadly, the first time I played through, my repair skill was stinky low, so I had no clue about the stories. >.<
I was kinda' bummed that Hk-47 wouldn't tell you much, unless you were dark side. Still, there is fun to be found.
Not necessarily, there is still no cross hair while shooting from the hip and while your aiming down the iron-sight; the drift has been upped for the PC version. Still, You can't really go wrong with the PC or X-box version. Now, do avoid the PS2 version, if you can, the AI isn't as good and it lacks polish.

Nah Halo 2 isn't really that bad for an M-rated game. The aliens have the usual green/blue blood and of course there is some blood when human's get killed, but not that much and no gore. And there is a difference between murder and killing. The Master Chief from popping an invading alien in the face and Tommy Vercetti from Vice City popping grandma on the street is not the same thing.

My favorite games are rated M for the following: Violence, Gore.

Seriously, if you've a mature enough psyche, the above shouldn't really make that much of a difference. You don't have to like it, but there's no reason to let it freak you out. You're going to have to get used to it some time.

However, there are things that you don't have to get used to, and that would be the other reason games get an M rating, just none of the ones in my library.

I never said it freaked me out...My parents don't like it so I cant have it some blood does nothing to me but whens its all about how gorey a game can be then..

I think its stupid just because people say "its mature" suddenly means everything goes yet a child can see just as much and hes not mature by any means...

Too bad about Ninja Gaiden. 'Tis a great game. Let's see what I can reccomend for ya.

Judging by your Hitomi avatar, DOA3 and DOAU would probably be good choices.

Halo and Halo 2 are definate must-haves. 'Nuff said about that.

KOTOR is a great RPG. I haven't played the second one yet, so I can't speak for that one.

Morrowind (game of the year edition) is another awesome RPG. This one requires some time and patience though. It's HUGE and completely non-linear. A bit too slow for some people though.

Project Gotham Racing 2 is a cool racer. It may not be Burnout 3, but it's still pretty good.

Fable... I wasn't sure whether to recommend this or not. It's great while it lasts, but it doesn't last very long. It can easily be beaten in about 10 hours. I'd recommend renting it, or waiting til you see it cheap somewhere.

Splinter Cell is great too! I can't really speak for the sequels, but from everything I've heard thus far, they're better than the first, which again, is a great game.

That's my standard list of Xbox recommendations lol. I haven't really played too many of the newer big games. Anyways, have fun with your Xbox!

O' yeah, I agree, Shooters control better on the PC than their console counterparts, but Brothers in Arms is a slightly different beast. The developers didn't want gamers commando’ing through levels on the PC, because the aiming is more precise with the mouse, so they balanced the game by adding more sight drift and whatnot.

Anyways, I'm just saying don't expect Brother in Arms to be a lot easier on the PC, then the X-box... like most FPS games.

Starsky & Hutch

Games I don't recommend:

Halo 2. DUH.
Chronicles of Riddick
Gunvalkyrie

Have you played Doom 3? The entire game revolves around Hell. The Loading Game icon is the horned star and that symbol = pure satanism. While I like the concept of killing demons and demon possesed zombies, I am totally against this game. How do I know this stuff? 'Cause I got the demo disc with my latest OXM issue! It also comes with the Darkwatch: Curse of the West demo and the Constintine hidden demo so I know what games I will never buy and put on my Xbox. The only two demos I like on this disc is Psychonauts and Pariah(a 1st person shooter that slightly resembles a cross between Halo and Half-Life. You play as a gun wielding doctor on a future Earth).

Personal; I hate games that are ALL about gore i mean its one thing if your telling a story and it envoles some bloodshed but when its somthing like hmm I dunno... GOD OF WAR!

No I havent played this but come on theres no need what so ever for that level of violence...aNd you can have sex in the game..I reember someone saying something along of the lines of "its a good way to develop the character...translation "We dont know anything about telling a story so we'll jam of games full of stupid crap to hide the flaws"

Well I just got Splinter cewll..great game..I JUST WISH IT DIDNT FREZZE AM MUCH...geez..not matter how great it plays and lok this reson alone will ensure Metal Gear Solid holds its place as best stealth game...IMO.

Im also playing KoTOR and i must say when I first got the gme ..I HATED IT!!! I dunno why but i dont think I was in a real gaming mood cause even i got up i suddenly had a strong urge to play it.

I also got DOA3...hehe...

Soon to get
Mercenaries
Halo
Star Wars BattleFront

Now I all I need is money.
