Folks, this is just plain awe-freaken'-some! This is a streaming audio station devoted to game music. Actually, it's divided into four stations; classic, modern, complete, and PC. You can even make requests, if you like.

What do you need?

-Just a compatible streaming audio program (Winamp is recommended). For the 56k people out, there is low-end counterparts to each station.

Enjoy! :thumb:

Huh? It is? Odd, because I'm listening to the Modern Station right now (Ikaruga). Is the site not responding for ya' or Winamp not wanting to connect?

Thanks. It'd be an "awesome" find if people wouldn't overrequest Katamari Damacy, right? ;) Actually, the Space Channel 5 and Jet Set Radio tracks are starting to get a little annoying. -but, that's why I'm glad there are four stations.

Heh, don't beat around the bush do we? I really completely fail to see how the site "sucks". Aside from competing with your "Ultimate" collection, any other reasons? Don't like random tracks? or don't like Dreamcast, Nintendo, and X-box stuff?

I've got a program that rips the soundtracks off of PSX games. So I've got the ULTIMATE MP3 VideoGame Music Library, Also I've got the Techno soundtrack off of GTA:3 (RISE fm) and a lot of other games.

My collection would totally 0WN that website. Of course they would probly get in trouble if they played everything I've got.

Hmm, I guess that is the Ultimate collection for your taste.

As for me, I want a little bit more than just PS 1 and 2, stuff. Although, it is great stuff, you are forgetting about Zelda, Fire Emblem, Mario, Metroid, Castlevania (all), Halo (1 and 2), Dungeon Siege, Total Annihilation, Command and Conquer, Knights of the Old Republic, Ys, Megaman, Panzer Dragoon, Sonic, and etc.

Doesn't seem like there's a way for Macs to play this (Nullsoft no longer offers a Mac version of Winamp).

Huh, that stinks about Winamp. Anyways, I believe iTunes works with Gaming FM.

Hmm... I found this while searching through their Tech forum (I believe their 128k streams where down that day):
On iTunes go to the Advanced menu. click on Open Stream. (keyboard shortcut is ctrl+u, or probably apple+u if on a mac) type in this url and it should work:

http://complete.gamingfm.com/listen24.pls

This is the 24k complete stream.
There's a request system. Go to 'Request a Song" and it'll let you browse through their entire database of songs. You, of course, have to register to request. I was playing with that request system, yesterday and it works out quite well. Your limited to 2 requests an hour, so the wait for your songs isn't to long.

Oh there's something in Volt's collection for everyone, with 100+ psone games, I'm sure I've got something for everyone.

I'm also a download freak, so I've got practicly all sonic collections, I'm getting the mario ones on bittorrent.

i wish someone would .zip these things all together, rather than listing them seperately :shady:

Ah, I see. The only PSone OST I have are mostly all of the Square stuff and MGS. Anyways, have you ever checked out http://www.ocremix.org? They have an awesome list of over 4 gigs worth of Video Game remixes. Great addition to a collection. I think they have a BitTorrent section, where you can download groups of 500 songs or something.

Shooby, I'm totally confused by your post. I'm listening right now. This is GREAT. Here's what I did:

1. Go to the website and copy the link ( http://www.gamingfm.com:7500/listen.pls for me ).
2. Open iTunes and click on "Advanced -> Open Stream."
3. Paste it in, hit enter and enjoy.

Am I missing something here.....?
