are ya glad this is comming out?

I personally, and mad. I feel that they are detroying the essence of the first 2 final fantasys. I wish that they would take a direct port from the nes to the gba cart, instead of like, remaking it all. THEY ADDED THE FF6's GHOST TRAIN :waah!:

I think it's going to be good.

If you think about it, Final Fantasy Origins ruined FF 1 to a degree as well. They allowed you to change the options so that Life, Life2, and Gold Needles could be used in battle. They also allowed an option for a "run" button, and easy mode, in which everything cost less, characters levelled up faster, and mages got WAY more MP than they EVER had in the original.

Yes, these were all options, not requirements, but most people are going to take the easier route, which is NOT how FF 1 was meant to be played.

And 2...well, I HATE 2. The "No XP/no levels" system was HORRENDOUS. I don't believe I'll EVER play FF2 again after playing it for about thirty minutes the first time.

New bosses are ALWAYS a nice addition, yo. Besides, maybe I'll actually beat FF 1 this time. I have it in origins, but the loading times... :eh: The option to save anywhere will also be nice. I'm tired of having to go all the way through the Temple of Fiends...time after time...

I'm not going to get them, I've already got FF 1 and 2 on Origins. FF 1 was realy cool, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, I thought I might hate it, because it's story isn't as involved as later games, but it turned out to be very challenging and fun, although everything cost WAAAAAAY too much in normal mode. I don't exactly enjoy running around for hours so I can earn Gold.

I agree with the review of FF2, It's definitly the worst game of the series.

I picked FF 1+2 up a couple days ago and I love it, I already had FF Origns but I picked this up for the extra dungons, and to be honest, I'm finding this version superrior in every way except for music quality, but in this version they added the menu music back in which I'm very happy about, over all I am impressed.

Oh and FF2 gets better after the 1st 30 minutes.

Unless they institute a level/XP system after the first thirty minutes, I highly doubt it.

No they don't, but you get used to the battle system, just because something's different doesn't make it bad.
