anyone ever play Codename: Gordon? its a platformer that takes the place of Hal- (for a sec there i was gonna type Halo) 2 and it shows all the levels!

yup on tuesday i go and buy it, im getting the 6 cd retail version, mostly becuase im wary of steam and the fact that i like haveing my software on a disk for the future.

NO! Don't support VU! Support Valve! Buy from them! THEY deserve the money!!!! Plus you can always burn the directory onto a cd. And plus! You can also get Half-Life 1: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, and Coutner-Strike: Source! Trust me, atleast buy the silver package of of steam!

Either way Valve get's their money man. Also there's nothing really that great about the silver package it's a waste in my opinion. Half Life: Source is nothing but the original with Blue Shift models and Half Life 2's water effects same with Day of Defeat: Source. Besides you know someone, if not the DoD team, is going to make a full scale WW2 multiplayer mod for Half Life 2. Same with the original game.

for those who preloaded and want to backup their CS and HL2 here is some information for ya

Get into Steam, then in an internet browser, type "steam://backup/", Steam should pop-up and take you through a Back-up wizard.

I'm hoping HL2 or KOTOR2 will grab game of the year. It makes me sad that no one at my school knows what HL2 is. They're all about GTA and Halo 2. What injustice.

yeah, that annoys the HECK OUTTA ME too, they don't know a great game... i love telling people that halo 2 is for noobs, and half-life 2 are for the 1337.

Well, I've got Metroid Prime 2 coming tomorrow in the mail, so I dediced to wait til' Christmas to get it. Tooo many awesome games coming out all at once. Anyways, I hope the game sells really well, those guys who made it had a tough time getting it out.
