i'm playing the game and i really love it, i do i really do, but...... something has been bothering me. i was just wondering to anyone who has played the game, do they ever show anime sequences besides the sequence in the beginning? am i just not far enuff in the game? i don't need to know what the sequences r about or anything if there is any i just wanna know if the game has any at all. i'm so confused i thought that when i bought the game that i'd be seeing beautiful anime sequences all over the place but i haven't seen one. i'm not complaining i love the game but i just wanted to know. thanks ^^

Well, Namco wanted to 'Americanize" the game... which was good and bad. On the good side, they found voice actors to match the character's personality, instead of ones that imitated the Japanese counter-part voice. On the Bad side, the beautifully done Anime scenes thorough the games were cut out…. along with the catchy J-pop song. Sorry.

I can’t fully confirm this….sadly, I'm only 20 hours into the game... just don't have the time to sit down and play it... o’well…

No, they anime scenes were not cut out, what was cut out was the J-Pop intro which was replaced with tune composed for the Amercian release, I belive the PS2 version will have extra anime scenes though.

I have seen the aforemetioned anime cut scenes, and I can tell you the first one is near the end of the first disc.

I HATE IT when companies try to Americanize Japanese games. Considering that anime's popularity has shot up now more than ever before, and many gamers are into anime, it's very stupid to try to change something like TOS around.

there are 3 anime scenes the intro, one at the end of the first disc and one when you beat the game. i really dont care about the cut scenes they are nothing special

Actually, the scene when the Tower of Salvation first appears is also an anime cut-scene. Trust me; I've watched it 10 times.

Watch it closely if you're not sure I'm right. In particular, pay attention to the trees at the start of the scene. ^_^ It is indeed anime.
