MoH: Pacific Assault Demo is out!

Postby Link Antilles » Sat Sep 04, 2004 1:49 pm

Even though the game isn't due until November, there is a 534MB single level demo available. I suggest going to here: http://www.eagames.com/official/moh/pacificassault/us/editorial.jsp?src=downloads

The EA Games and 3dgamers servers seem to be the fastest. Although, they may be full now.

Well... It's done... and Holy hands grenades of Antioch does this game kick Axis butt!!! The graphics and physics are awesome! Now, I know most of us FPS fans have played many of WW2 games.... and it's kinda getting old. But, this is like Call of Duty... sparks the conflict alive once more. I'm really looking forward to this game. :thumb:

Unfortunately, I have some bad news.... though the graphics aren't as good as Doom 3 and Far Cry.... it really taxes your system. I have a 2.8 P4, 1 gig of RAM, and 128mb Radeon Pro.... and it's choking... Hopefully, this is because it's a demo... I hope.

Yeah this game could deffinetly ranks up there with Call of Duty by the look of the demo. The graphics were beautiful though you'll have little time to oogle when Japanese soldeirs are doing banzai attacks.;) I put everything to max and I got maybe 2 or 3 small kiccups during the airfield part. I have an Athlon 2800, 512mb RAM, and a 256mb Radeon 9600 XT.

This will deffinetly make my list of games to get in November.:thumb:

534Mb for a demo? dang maybe when i get DSL

but from what i can tell the game seems pretty cool but im still wonderin if their still doin that "one guy agaist all the Axis" theme here.

if its like Call of Duty will there be more enphasys on teamplay?

thats my only trouble with all the MOH games ( well that and the fact that the last one could be beat in under an hour or two)

im hopein for the best with this one

No you had 3 permenant squadmates in the demo level, but ordering them around was disabled. You will be able to command a small squad in the retail game though with basic commands.
