Yes. My parents still talk about a local TV newsprogram showing how in one US toystore parents fought tooth and nail for the last dolls during a Christmas rush to get the last toys. :)

I was only born in 1983 but I still remember Cabbage Patch Kids being hot property in the late 1980s. But then again Australia is behind the times. (lol)

Pong. That's right. Pong. It was a thivk blue stick that screwed into the UHF jacks on the back of the tv. The stick had the game controls and a paddle and there was another paddle connected by wire for the other player. Sweet, sweet pong.

Although, I really cut my teeth on the atari 2600.
