I do not play it "a lot" but I do play and enjoy it when I have the opportunity. The single player modes are worth a few plays, and Event Mode is also enjoyable (and longer lasting). Of course, the biggest appeal of the game is multiplayer, and that can be enjoyable.

Generally I use Kirby, because if you can control your opponent's smashes his jumping ability makes him nigh-impossible to kill. Yoshi also works pretty well for me.

Any time that I bring my friends over we usually end up playing Melee and if we start, we don't stop for a while. Personally, I use Pikachu, Link, Marth and Captain Falcon the best, but I try to play with all of the characters (except Pichu, no like Pichu).

I always loved the original SSB game for the N64... Nothing better than entering a four man melee as Samus. One of the better people in our group always played as Captain Falcon...man, did he slaughter people.

"CAPTAIN FALCON! CAPTAIN FALCON!"

And another frag...

Love the game, used to play multiplayer tons. Lately, I haven't played much...no one to play with. Hope there's going to be a third one.

It was sooo funny last time I played, I was playing a friend and it was his system and I kept beating his but over and over so he was asked my to kindly use someone other than Marth so I picked kerby and I still ruled the game! I love Marth and Roy

I was glad to see that the sequel to Super Smash Brothers was a quality game that significantly improved upon the original. The first was a good game, and it was good to see them working on making a good series instead of merely churning out nearly carbon-copied sequels (as in Mario Party). Assuming that they make a third (which I would assume), I hope they make such improvements again.

Too bad we can't play this game online... if it did we could have had a CAA tourney!

That game is rarely out of my GC for a month. I love the game too much, I try to use everyone except Fox, Falco, Yoshi, and Mr. Game and Watch (I don't like them). My favorite is Link because he kicks some major butt. I wish they would add Metaknight to the third installment (if they make it).

They defenitly need Wario. He's the kick-butt master!
Yeah, and some other characters would be sweet, like Meta-knight, and Megaman or something.

Wario would be cool to have, and perhaps Waluigi! Don't know who Metaknight is, but I doubt we'll ever see Mega Man, since he's not a Nintendo character. They'd have to do a cross-company title for that!

It's been a long while since I last played. A whole slew of new challenges opened up, but they're so difficult! I'm sure plenty of you out there have conquered them all, but I just get whooped inside out. I think I need to practice my defensive moves more....

Metaknight is a villain of the Kirby games. Think a blue kirby with cape, mask and sword. It wouldn't matter greatly to me, as the only reason I really use Kerby is because of his jumping and Up+B moves.

If I remember right, Golden Sun is, as well, a third party game as well in conjuction with Nintendo but I'm not sure.

Im a huge fan of SSBM, I've been playing the game since its been out, and in SSBM you can reach a point where its pretty much impossible to be defeated by ordinary computer no matter how many there are or how high levle they are. As of now, I've reached that point, in which the game becae boring, I dont usually have anyone to play with, but my brother recently started playing as well. It would be awsome, if, there was a national, or state wide SSBM Tournament, that would simply rule.
