is it my DS Lite or FF4?

So on my new DS Lite (the newer pink model^^) I just bought FF4 and noticed that only during certain parts of the game (aka all the time except when fading in/out or the opening cut scene with the good graphics), there's a random red dot in them iddle of the screen and it's kinda annoying >_< Anyone else have a similar problem? Maybe it has to do with havign an Advance game in there? *shrugs*

Sounds like a dead pixel to me.

Yup; it might be a dead pixel. Perhaps it shows up only on certain coloured backgrounds... don't know too much about dead pixels except that they're... well, dead pixels.
I think I have one on my top screen, but when I asked about it apparently there's always one dead pixel where they attach something to the screen. I wonder if that's right?

yeah. Dead Pixel. Put all your stuff back in the box (except the game) and return it for a new one and explain your situation.

I have a green one on mine. I never found it to be a big deal, but yeah, I think you can exchange it anyways.

yeah my SP has a dead pixel it's not that bad but it's always there on all colors

Yep, deffinately a dead pixel...

If you got it from BestBuy, Circuitcity, Walmart, ect you shouldn't have a hard time returning it if you tell them what your problem is...

I had a dead pixel on my DS but I recently got a Lite and haven't had any trouble with the screen yet ^^

I hardly notice my dead pixel...

And is it normal for you to have one dead pixel on the upper screen, like that guy told me? o_O

I think I've seen things like that before (moreso on comp screens). Heh yeah I guess yours wouldn't be that noticable if at the top^^ While mine's smack dap in the middle... just can't help but stare at the red dot...

Ahh, I think I used to have one of those on my SP. Actually, it was white, so it may have been a piece of dust that had slid under the screen during production. Anyways, it was in the top-right corner, kind of out of the way, so it never bothered me. *shrug*
