Carmen Sandiego: Secret of the Stolen Drums

Postby Azier the Swordsman » Mon Nov 17, 2003 4:15 pm

I haven't played a Carmen game in years. Now, a new set of games are set to come out for all consoles. What does everyone think? Will they be good or a waste of money?

EDIT: Something interesting I noticed is that the cover art looks slightly anime like.

I slightly remember playing those games in early elementary school.

My 2 cents: It's most likely a waste, since the new one is almost certainly going to be focused on a younger age group like the old ones, it's below standard price, and it's being developed by BAM! Entertainment.

Actually, BAM is the publisher, A2M is the developer. I don't really care for either company though as their titles are focused towards younger kids. I actually got a chance too see some screnshots of the game in action, and quite frankly, the graphics don't impress me. I most likely won't buy this unless it gets some REALLY good reviews.

I remember playing those when I was younger. Neat way to learn geography. They most likely will be geared toward younger kids. Most educational titles like that are.

BigZam, I request that you *please* don't grave dig. This thread is so old I don't even remember posting here. – To prevent this from happening again, make sure to check the date of the last post before you post yourself.

Well, since I am here, I might as well point out that the game flopped... no big surprise...

Tis a pity. I wouldn't mind playing for nostalgia sake if they would actually bring a decent console game out.
