Legend of Legaia

I snagged a copy of this game awhile ago and I like the battle system but the plot doesn`t motivate me to keep playing. I tossed LoL aide for a little while so I could play others. I`m at the Mist Generator.
Is there a plot twist that will make the plot motivate me?

*sigh* If you are not motivated by Legaia there is no hope for you. It was one of the best PS1 rpgs. I hope Kaemmerite sees this, and sets you straight. ;)

Yes, it does. The game is actaully a hoot. Lots of unique characters...castles, monsters. You owe it to yourself to play through it. If you beat the game, and still hate it...I will tell you to play it again.

It is an excellent game, I agree, very near the top of my favorite RPG list. As far as the plot twists, yeah, there's a couple...I won't spoil 'em though. Ultimately, though, it wasn't the storyline that kept me going in Legaia. The storyline was good, but not great, I admit it. It was the battle system that kept me hooked. Learning new abilities and stuff. Did you notice that when you revive a Genesis Tree, your Ra-Seru's appearance changes? It's pretty neat. I also loved how equipping new weapons and armor actually changed the way your characters looked...a trend that not many other RPGs follow. Overall, it's just a great game, with awesome bad guys and a fun combat system. You should get back into it. :D

The second one was ok, not great, not bad. Not anything as good as the first though.

The second one is playable...and good if your not holding it to the standard the first set. Its just that the lead guy looks like Vahn...but is not him. Which I thought was lame.

An RPG sequel that has the same characters? You guys are off your rockers. ;p

Legaia was a bit slow for me. Not that I'm saying it's a bad game, by any means, it's my fault for having what my sister calls gaming ADD...
