Well in my opinion anyway
I got this game today, hearing many good things about it
And I have to say, this game is ABSOLUTELY amazing.
The game is called Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! (Go! Fight! Cheer Squad!) and it is absolutely stunning and amazing and INCREDIBLY addictive. Made by Inis, who are the same people who made Gitaroo Man
Ouendan is essentially a rhythm game, you are part of some help squad (or male cheerleader team, whatever) and you must bring peace in the world! People will call you up by screaming "Ouendan" and three guys appear out of knowwhere. Your objective: You must DANCE! To motivate the citizens to accomplish their goal. Wether it be having a ghost meet his love for one last time, studying for a test, having an employee trying to get a date with her boss, or superhero medicine things fight off bad viruses inside this guys stomach.
It being a rhythm game, its similar to DDR or Parappra the rapper, but insted you use the stylus on the bottom screen and do 3 movements. You either tap buttons, roll this ball back and forth, or spin in circles. On the top screen shows the current scenario and such
It also has a good variety of jrock/jpop songs which accompany the game, (IT HAS READY STEADY GO! you know, the Full Metal Alchemist opener) and the song is in sync with the tapping and rolling and such. They start off easy then get really difficult.
I highly recommend this game to every single DS owner, yes it is imported, however it is VERY import friendly, the scenario/comic things on the top screen are very self explanatory, and there is practically no japanese to read (I myself can't read a hint of Japanese)
To top it all off, the game has an IMMENSE replay value, it'll take you a long time to get bored of it
