Yes, Halo is rated M. Halo is a fairly bloody game. Most of the blood you encounter is alien, but there are several times when the blood is smeared across the walls, Human and Alien. There are also zombie like creatures blow into pieces when they are killed. Many of them are twisted and mutated versions of Humans and Alien, not a nice sight, to say the least.

As for the language... yes, I have heard some soldiers use the F-word... but this is very very rare. The sad thing your not even warned about the language of the back of the box. The truth is Halo does have its share of words. All of the basic four letter ones are used at sometime or another. Mostly, the heavy parts are when you accidentally kill an ally and during a few cut scenes. Also, the Lord’s name in vain is use a few times. In short, the language is pointless and put it to give the Marines a "colorful" personality.

Yup, afraid so... it's basically the exact same game as the X-box version with a few new multiplayer weapons and maps... also, no Co-op mode.

They usually use the F-word only on legendary, on easy they dont use it. in the pc version you can turn off the blood, it helped my comp so it didn't lag. since i beat the game on the xbox, i could play without sound ;). it scared me when i played the xbox again at how much blood there could be if you kept whacking an eliete =-£ Yeah... some parts arnet very pretty, you have 2 punch out a dude that is infested and his brain gets splatered.....

Just thought I'd point out that gravedigging (resurrecting very old posts, especially if you don't have much to contribute) is generally frowned upon.

If you have something to say, but the thread you were going to comment on is very old, you're often better off starting a new thread.

I just thought I'd point that out, since you've felt the need to bump every Halo 2 thread from last spring until now.

Here's a thought...why don't you go ask Yojimbo if he'll let you join the Halo 2 clan that he started. If you have xbox live that is...
(shameless plug)

Yeah I at least play a couple hours during the week and whenever on the weekends. We have 12 members now, but I haven't seen the other CAA guys playing too much lately. All the guys I invited are cool and don't be afraid to get in a game with them if I'm not on.
