Review of: The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay is a freakin awesome game! This game was so fun to play. The game is a first person shooter/ stealth action/ fighter/ rpg. It seems like a lot, and it is, but is is so worth it. I played this game and loved it to death. You have to fight people hand-to-hand or with homemade knives or clubs until you can get some weapons. The graphics on this game are incredible. You can see the fear in people's eyes almost. One word of caution: This game is extremeley violent and EXTREMELEY vulgar. The gaurds around you cuss you out as you roam around the dark, which, by the way, you can shoot out most lights in order to let you use your night vision powers. This game is pretty long for a first person shooter/ other things. It took me probably 20 hours to beat it, playing almost non-stop, but I adapted institaneously to the game so it could take longer for some people. There were parts of this game that were real challenging until you figured out what to do. This game was all around awesome and I would highly recommend buying it. There's also a bonus feature where you have to find ciggarette packs that unlock bonus stuff. It doesn't condone smoking though, because each pack has a slogan like "Gauranteed to kill you" or Not for Humans". This game is so awesome and fun so go buy it. :thumb:  :thumb:

The game ties into the movie and actually explains alot of what the movie leaves out. Beat the game, go see Pitch Black, and then go see the Chronichles of Riddick.
That's what I would do.

I have been playing this game and it is without doubt the best movie-to-game transition in the history of gaming. I just wish the frame rate would've been more consistent from start to finish, the visuals are breathtaking but sometimes the sloppy frame rate ruinates all the top-notch lighting and attention to detail.
