The Traveller's Guide screen shots!

Postby TheMelodyMaker » Wed Jun 16, 2004 2:39 pm

(Hope I posted this in the right spot... ^_^; )

Although I still don't have a demo ready yet, I have enough done now that I can show off some screen shots of The Traveller's Guide! (For those that don't know, that's the game I've been making for the last 11 years -- currently my third try.)

Just pop into my site ("The BASIC FAQs" in my signature) and follow the link in the News section on the front page. (Or, as always, you can get there through the Project Conglomeration section.)

Enjoy; I hope this tides you all over until I can eventually get my demo ready! ^_^

Hey, cool! Now we finally know what the elusive "Traveller's Guide" looks like! :D Looking forward to a working demo...:thumb:

BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

You have the power to say anything you want, so why not say something positive?

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Thanks Ink. Say... that didn't happen to be you that tried unsuccessfully to look at my guestbook, was it? I apologize for that; I just figured out today that it's my own fault for putting backslashes in the link when they should have been forward slashes. (I figured it out when I did the same thing with my screenshots today, looked at my server logs and saw that someone got the 404! *slaps forehead* ) I guess Internet Explorer automatically converts them, but other browsers must not.

Anyway, to anyone who's tried to look at my guestbook in the past and couldn't, try again -- it should work for you now! ^_^

(Okay, I'm done being off my own topic now. )

That was probably me trying to sign your guestbook, but I guess I'll just post here instead, since I'm doing that anyway.

The screens look really cool, and now I'm curious. Can't wait to check out the demo. :thumb:
