Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Halloween Trailer (in HD on PSN, demo on Nov. 8th)

Postby Omega Amen » Wed Oct 31, 2007 4:23 pm

Today, Naughty Dog (developers of the original Crash Bandicoot games on PS1, and the Jax and Daxter series on PS2) have released a new trailer today. (BTW, it has nothing to do with Halloween.)

I think the trailer is pretty hot. Click here to see it. HD versions are also available for download: 720p version, 480p version

Apparently, the HD version will also be available to download on PSN. Also, Amy Hennig, the game director, states that a demo will be available on PSN on Nov. 8th.

Game will be released Nov. 19th.

I know a few PS3 owners here are interested in this title. Thought you would appreciate the info.

the trailer's pretty interesting. the game seems like your classic indiana jones style adventure/action genre. it'll be interesting to see what kinds of twists naughty dog adds to the game to make it more original...

"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

The new trailer is bad Jack, man. I can't wait until next week, then it's about 3 weeks until launch from now.

With this and rock band (sharing that cost with a friend) coming up, this is gonna be a big gaming month for me... I knew it was going to be a while back.

EDIT 2: Ok, It hadn't been that long since I wrote this, I guess... I'll give it more time.

I just got done with the demo in all 3 difficulties... This game is incredible... The guy actually gets wet, and his clothes bend with him... He has believable hair (unlike in HS), the animation is perfect, there are no framerate hitches, almost no popin (if it happens, it's small and distant), lighting through many moving background objects (plants blowing in the wind) none of those smokey shadows in so many next gen games, very little bloom, great controls, great aiming, and a relatively long demo with an opening cut scene! Seriously, as a DEMO this demo comes really close to the MSG4 demo I played at E4all (I'm sure I'll like MGS4 better than uncharted... I'm just biding my time until next spring)

Anyone with a PS3 who doesn't get demos is cheating themselves out of lots of use for their system.

I saw a friend play the demo.

I was HIGHLY impressed. Good fight system, good voice acting, the visuals were great. I LOVED how your clothes get wet and then dry as you sit in the sun.

I'd get it if I had a PS3.

Maybe... Just maybe... If you end up coming out for AX (which I know you may not, it is pretty freaking far) you can play mine. Because it IS awesome. This is just after year one... Well, I guess it wasn't much longer before the first good games came out on PS2 (MGS2 came out a little over a year after the PS2 launch, and FFX came the month after that.)

Well, today I decided to start downloading the demo. It'll probably be a few days until it finishes, though, I have such slow internet.

The game looks good, though. I'm excited for it.
