well i would like to thank God for blessing me with my first job after applying for like 5 places not sure if they were hiring or not i finally got a job as a dishwasher.. i started today and i can tell you dishwashing is not fun and i didnt even get a break for the 9.5hrs i worked my feet are so sore lol ok enough complaining i got a job right!! im so excited

Congratulations! It sounds like a tough job, but you'll be all the stronger for it, right?

congradulations, dishwashing isnt very bad, at least your not rushed as much as other food service jobs, you just have to get used to being wet all the time. yeah you
ll get sore from standing for a few weeks till you get used to it but it will get better after the first 2 weeks, then you settle into a routine i guess, and the job becomes just another job.

thanks.. your not joking about the getting sore from standing my feet are killing me my hands are all cut up and fingers already have calases or however there spelled lol the part were dead skin or something gets hard... dishwashing sucks!! i hate it i have been getting out at 1am lately but today i got out at 10:30!! im so happy and my boss let me get thursdays and fridays off for bible study and im trying to talk her into sunday.. but atleast on sundays i dont go to work until 4 so i have time to goto church in the morning but i miss going in the evening too..

Congrats on your job and I'll be praying for you. (Sounds pretty painful...)
