A weird as it sounds, please pray I DON'T get the job.

Basically, I've got an interview to a programming job, but the thing is that I'm pretty sure that God doesn't want me to leave the job I have now for atleast another 2 months. The thing is that my dad will make me take the job or he'll be extremely mad at me. So bascially I'm in tough spot right now.

"Two months" is an oddly specific amount of time. What is the reasoning behind this assumption?

Well, I did say atleast 2 months. But yeah, I just think where I am now is where God wants me to be.

But why wouldn't you be where God wants you to be in two months?
Again, if you said "a couple of months" or "a few months" or "a little while," then I wouldn't be asking. But you gave a specific number, and that implies that something is happening in two months that's important to you...which is going to influence how you feel.
Anyway, that's all I'll say. Maybe getting the job is good for you. So I'll pray that God's will be done, whether that's getting the job or not.
