Witnessing to Family

Hey there everybody. 
I would like to ask for prayer as I start conversing with an uncle of mine again. I haven't talked to him much since he moved out of state, but he's been getting more into Facebook and texting lately so we're talking a lot more. I'm not sure about where he is with God, and judging from my impressions of him, he's always seemed to have depression and issues with low self-esteem, like I do.
Anyway, I'm trying to talk to him on a fairly regular basis. Aside from my mom and grandma, he lived with me longer than any other family members or roommates. He's always been a bit of a hermit, so we didn't really talk very much when we lived together. I could tell he still cared for us, though. I feel much closer to him than I do to my other uncles... I love him very much, and he's the closest I've ever had to a flesh-and-blood dad.
Anyway, I'm trying to take things slowly as I start talking with him again. I want to be friends with him, so I can speak some encouragement and witnessing into his life. He's also a big anime fan, so I'm trying to use that to get a little closer to him.
His birthday was earlier this year, and that day marked the first time I told him that I love him directly. When my birthday came, he wished me a happy birthday on my Facebook wall... I decided to say it again. I told him thanks, and that I love him. He said "you just had to bring that up didn't you?
" but then he said that he loves me too, and that he wanted me to have a wonderful day.
Anyway, if you all could pray that this door of opportunity would continue to open, and that things would all work out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
