Car

My car broke down AGAIN. This is the third time in the last 3 months! This time, it is my radiator. It's cracked.
Thankfully, a friend who works on cars for a living said he can fix it --and will only charge for the new radiator. The new part should be in tomorrow afternoon, he said.

This just really sucks. No church for me tomorrow. No Intro to Rally class in Houston with my dog in training or with Pebbles (who is visiting for the weekend.)

I want to cry. A lot. :/

My friend says that this kind of stuff just happens sometimes. But my alternator quit on me TWICE (finally got that resolved) and now it's my radiator! When will it end? I need a car that won't scrape on the hills in my college town --my friend said the scraping could be part of what contributed to my current radiator problem.

Don't know if my car has any trade-in value though. It's only a 2007 model, but its parts are crapping out on me. I was afraid that I would get stranded on the side of the road again, and I did. :/

Please pray that this gets fixed quickly. I'm really tired of stuff breaking on my car, even though I do all the routine maintenance and stuff I'm supposed to.

Thanks! Though I feel like I complain an awful lot.

I do have many blessings currently, though. I mean, having to move back in with my mom has been good for the time being, actually. I don't have utilities/high rent to pay for and few chores, so I can focus on school. It's a safe place to stay --and I didn't have to beg my mother to let me keep my retired dog this weekend --because she loves Pebbles and my dog in training is growing on her (she asked me what I'm going to do with that big dog --train him to be a service dog, of course!)

So things are going really well overall. This is just a bump in the road. An annoying one, but not anything crippling and it's something easily repaired. :D

I'll pray.

Out of curiosity, what model and make is your car? If you're ever in the market for a new (or used) car, I highly recommend a Toyota or a Honda. I have a used 2001 Toyota Camry, and in the five years that I've had it I've put nearly a hundred thousand miles on it and never had a single problem.

I have a 2007 Ford Taurus. I desperately want a Honda Element --rated the most dog-friendly vehicle. It's easy to clean out and Handsome would have his own space in the back vs. the back seat being the "dog seat" in my current car.

Yes, I want to get a car specifically because I have a dog. :D
