Prayers For Doctors

Hey all,

First I want to thank everyone for their prayers on my moving. I got here safely even though I really miss my friends and family. I have my own room and don't have to live out of a suitcase anymore which is really exciting.

I do want some prayer as I try to find some new doctors. I'm very nervous as I was starting to get some progress with my other doctors. I'm hoping I find the same dedication, willingness and determination with the new doctors.

I'm hoping that my current MS episode is slowly going into remission again (I have re-occuring progressive MS type). I know God's got me in this, but I find the emotions are very much a struggle with all these changes.

Thank you all so much for the support you have give me so far. While I've seen it before, I'm not really used to it and I know how hard it is to trust what people say in this online setting.

Update: No doctors yet, still waiting for call backs. While I'm still in partial remission, today I couldn't sit up or move for over an hour due to pain. Added to that terror was the fact my mom and her boyfriend are out of town. So I am alone. I can deal with the alone part just this morning kind of scared me.

I'm looking for support groups here but I'm very afraid to leave my house. That might seem crazy to some but I'm hoping that that fear will gradually fade.

I'm working on my MTA Certification in Networking and Network Access Protection. Its a self-study for a exam. Currently it is the only way I can get Certifications as I can't attend school for financial reasons.

I guess I just need prayer on all of the above. Its a bit overwhelming. I am trying to concentrate on God more and I am finding that even harder. I don't know why.

If anyone has good ideas on reading the Bible or Bible study I can do from home, I would really appreciate it. I really need one and I can't go anywhere right now due to not having a car. I am finding that if I copy the Bible i tend to remember more but I need more. Prayer in the discipline area would be great too.

Thank you for all the prayers. Update is that I'm doing poorly health wise, so I could use some prayer in this area. I had a fever for a few days last week and I have had a few days where it took me 3 to 5 hours to be able to sit up in bed. I was alone so that was a little scary.

My mom is trying to get me into a internist to start getting referrals to pain management, neurologist, spine specialist, psychiatrist, psychologist (tho I don't need a referral for this), and possibly a neuro-surgeon since I am in a new state. Please pray that this goes swiftly and that I get competent and compassionate doctors. Thanks!
