... Are you mixing "death" with "missing" or something? Or do you consider it dead because it's missing? And what kind of bird is it? Depending on the bird, you could probably locate it easily.

Praying that you find it as I have a bird of my own. Not praying for a dead bird though.

Broken wing, sounds like. This tends to kill birds easily.

I'll pray for you though. I've lost a bird of my own and it was worse than when my dog died. They're very easy to bond with.

It is a painful situation when we lose a beloved pet, Mr. Bunny. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your bird. I pray that comfort will reach you.
Jeremiah 29:11-"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
"All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players; they have their entrances and their exits and one man in his time plays many parts."-Will Shakespeare

Aww... I'm sorry...
I don't take any stock in people who claim that animals go to Heaven, but I don't entirely believe people who view animals as just objects in this world that God created solely for us.

Anyway, I know it's a horrible feeling to lose a beloved pet, but at least you can take heart that the One who created your friend is in full control of what happens to him after he leaves this earth. *hugs*
