Akia's prayer thread

I decided to make a thread for my prayer request and praises. Ya know, so I don't have to make a new thread each time I have a praise or prayer.

For now, I would like to ask for prayer about these:
1] I'm graduating on June 11th 2009. I'm really excited, shocked and a bit scared. I have a job and I'll have to move out of my parents house soon... but the job I currently have only pays me $6.55/hr (min. wage) and I don't get too many hours (but this will most likely change now that I'm out of high school). I feel that the job I have right now is what I should have for the summer... but I'm not sure about after summer since I'll be starting college and looking for an apartment at some point. I guess I really want to know what job I need to have in order to support myself. Not only to rent an apartment, pay for community college and evereything else such as insurance and toiletries; but also so I can blanace helping with a campus lauch.
2] Focus. I've noticed I do spend a lot of time with God around other christians but not on my own time. I want to focus on him, even if it's just reading a christian book.
3] Reliance. I'm very reliant on God. So much so, I don't feel lonely even though I have never had a boyfriend (never been kissed). God has blessed me with really good friends.

Congrats on your graduating tomorrow

o.o I didn't think minimum wage was very different in Canada and the U.S. ... I'll be praying for you. My sister just went through finding an apartment, and it was for 4 girls >_> so it got a little frustrating at times. They just went to sign papers yesterday...I hope everything goes good with finding a good, affordable place, and that you settle into college nicely.

Yeah, it kinda gets like that at times, doesn't it? Well, just remember that He's always there, no matter if you think about Him or not. And He's willing to help you with whatever.
