A few things...

When I saw the prayer room, I knew there were a few things I wanted to ask prayer for here.

First off, I'd like to ask that you pray for my grandparents. They were involved in an accident in February, and my grandpa hit his head really bad on the ice. It was, like the scariest thing ever, because we were honestly preparing for flying over to where they live for a funeral. My dad went and visited them for a while, actually. Luckily, my grandpa got out of the stage where they were telling us to not be surprised if he died. From the start, the doctors were telling us not to expect him to recover. I saw some videos of him in the hospital, and it was so sad to see him in that state, where you couldn't really feel like he was there, not in spirit, at any rate. Luckily, he's in rehab right now, and he's visited his home and family a few times already. Another thing, with my grandma, they did a scan for her after the accident, and found that she has an aneurysm in her brain, and it's fairly big (over 2 centimeters). We're so lucky it didn't burst in the accident. So, please pray for my grandparents.

Also with one of my relatives is a request for prayer for my uncle. He's going to have an operation to see if he has cancer, and doctors have said that it's more likely that he does have cancer than not. He had a heart attack less than two years ago as well, so please pray for him. And, he doesn't know the Lord, so I would appreciate prayers for him and my other uncle, who also hasn't followed God.

One last request I have is for myself. Since August, I've been getting sick on and off, and almost every time, it's been in my stomach. I actually had the flu on my birthday! Anyways, I'd like to ask that you pray for healing, and that we'd know what's wrong.

Thanks for listening to me, and your prayers are very much appreciated!

Okay, I will. :)

I also just learned about my uncle tonight at supper, from my dad (it's on his side of the family, with my grandparents and uncles). My grandma doesn't know yet, because of everything that's been going on with my grandpa. I think that my dad's side of the family doesn't want to worry her...

Thank you for your prayers!

There is a sort of update on myself. I just went to the doctor today and had blood work done, along with a couple other tests, so I request prayers that the doctors will be able to find out what's wrong. My mom, especially, is very worried that this has been ongoing since August. And I think that it would be better to know what's wrong with me than to simply not have anything come up in the tests...

I don't know anything new about my grandparents and my uncle, though. :(

Well, I know I'm more blessed than many people in many ways...but it's a little hard that all this is happening at once  I had a disturbing dream the night before or a couple nights before my grandparents' accident (this happened early February. It feels like hardly any time has passed since then), so that time period was especially hard.

I'll probably have to get an ultrasound if nothing comes up in the tests...I have a younger friend who had to get an ultrasound, and she had worms...:( But she's fine now. Hopefully, the doctors will be able to find something that they can treat ^^

But, as I said earlier, I am more lucky than incredible amounts of people. Honestly, I don't think my problems are as bad as many people's.

Well, anyhow, thanks for the prayers, and I'll hopefully get better soon ^^

Just a few suggestions about your stomach thing...
I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but do you ever eat/touch your mouth without washing your hands? I am emetophobic (phobia of puking) and I am really psycho about what does and doesn't get into my mouth. I wash my hands every time I am going to touch food that I will eat, and I don't bite my nails or put anything in my mouth but food. I know it sounds crazy, but it really limits the diseases that get into your system if you're careful. (the germs that cause vomiting are transmitted via touch, not air, or at least that's the general consensus ATM) I haven't puked in years, and it's probably at least partly due to the (obsessive) hand-washing. If you tend to chew on random objects or bite your nails or anything like that, you could be making yourself sick over and over if for some reason there are a lot of germs in your house.

Another thing: could it be food poisoning? My boyfriend said once that they had turkey at his house that was bad, and he ate it and got sick, didn't realize it was the turkey, got better, ate it, and got sick again.

Anyway, here's hoping you feel better soon. *hugs*

I doubt this is the case, but I'll consider it and see if changing a couple things changes anything... (and you didn't come off as rude, don't worry ^^). I haven't actually puked since last summer, when all this started, after a swimming lesson. The stomach pain is just this hurting feeling, sometimes feeling like I'm going to puke...and is often accompanied by a pain in my throat (not usually just like a simple sore throat). I have gotten more sick this past year than the past five years, when you include the flu and the colds that I've gotten aside from my stomach sickness. Also, the doctor has said that because of swelling in my tonsils, it is possible that when I swallow, bacteria has gone down to a gland or something in my stomach which expands and causes the pain. I still haven't heard back from the doctor about my blood tests or throat swab or other tests yet, but he said that if nothing comes up in those tests, they'd probably give me an ultrasound to see if I have worms...(I mentioned this is my earlier post >.< Well, I live in Canada, so we don't have to pay for medical bills-except through taxes...) ...actually, my dog had worms, and this all started about the time we got our dog...also, it might be that I lose to much blood, because I get tired and lightheaded a lot. Sometimes, I've felt myself nearly fall over...

anyhow, I've been told by my Sunday School teacher, piano teacher, and my karate sensei & sempai, that my color has been looking better lately and I've been looking more like myself...so that's good.

As for food poisoning, well, I don't think there's anything that I've eaten would continue making me sick all the way since August, especially if it didn't make anybody else in my family sick...

When it first started happening, my mom thought it might have been something I picked up at Quebec or Ottawa, because we were visiting friends and family there during July, and I started getting sick not too long later...maybe my immune system has weakened considerably...

I just pray that God will help us know and fix the problem. Thanks for the hug and the consideration ^^
