*sigh* Yet Another Request

(I always feel like I just come here and whine whine whine all the time. >_< )
Well, the reason this time is...
We finally got a hearing time for my dad's disability check thing.
It's tomorrow, eeeeaarly in the morning, and he's really nervous about it.
The judge is somewhat of a religious zealot, and if the person he's deciding on isn't up to his standards...*poof* there goes all your chances at getting a ruling in your favour.
We have been going through this thing for a little over 4 years now, and my dad's hopes all rest on this one thing. If we don't get it...*sigh* I don't know how he'll be.
He gets depressed easily. =\
The judge can be quite moody, and has taken up to a year afterward to decide on his judgments before, so we have THAT to stress about.
Also....Dad is going to have an electrode strip inserted along his spine (under the skin), with the battery pack inserted in his abdomen.
If this works, he'll have MUCH MUCH less pain, which would be heavenly...
If it doesn't, then there is nothing else left to do. He'll just have to load up on painkillers until there isn't any higher dosage left in the world.
There have been reports of the strip slipping and breaking through the skin, then the person having to go BACK and redo the surgery.
Gah, this is SOOOOO aggravating!!!
Well...that's my little rant. Please pray...
