Audition to the Future

Hi guys, I know I don't post much here anymore, but I need prayers today.

I have an audition on April 18 to enter the Department of Music in University. My audition is at 2:00pm. I will be playing two pieces. One is a grade 9 and the other is a grade 10. In the music world, grade 10 is the highest grade.

I believe I am ready, but I need to practice some more before then.

I should tell you guys, I started University back in 2004, and spent two years there. I didn't do so well so in 2007 I needed some time off to experience full-time work.

I prayed and prayed for three years for God to tell me what He wanted me to do with my life, and for three years I worked and I played and practiced on those ivory keys, the piano.

My enjoyment, my relief, and my passion is on that instrument. I finally accepted God's gift for me and felt the need to return to University, to finish what I started and accomplish my goals.

This audition will be the start of it. I hope and pray to God it will all go well. I need to play, I need to be accepted to have a future.

I ask all of you who read this, pray for me that my audition goes well. It will mean so much to me. Thank you.

God we lift Cephas White up to you, that tomorrow you would shine through him and that with faith he would perform wonderfully, in the outcome of his song, or in the plans you have made and formed in his life. We know that you have plans for him, plans for a hope and plans for a future that are good. May your will be done, and may he play a joyous noise for you Jesus, for you have given him an awesome talent, may others accept him for this talent and cherish him for whom he is as the person you made him to be.

Thank you Lord Jesus,
Amen

That is an incredible challenge, I hope you meet them well. I have played the piano, but nothing at this level by any means or way (I only play by ear for the most part). I hope you succeed and can feel proud of the talents that God has given you.
