Turns out, that this was really a work site visit. The real interviews are later. We were shown around the offices and were told where we would be working and what we would be doing if we get the job.
After touring, I am unsure whether I physically can do this job (lots of getting files out of heavy boxes and climbing up to an attic to retrieve files--need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds).
But DARS (formerly known as the Texas Rehab Commission) is going to help me with job placement, so I am sure I will find something that I will love!
Also, I have been approved for the low-income housing here in town. It's a one bedroom duplex and rent will be $95 a month. They have also approved building a fence behind the duplex so Pebbles has a safe place to play. I haven't seen it yet and I still have to interview with the Housing Authority, but I am so happy that I will have a place to live after graduation even if it takes another couple of months to find a job.
I praise God for providing! He is always so faithful!
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
