Potentially losing vision - Please pray

Hi all,
Hubby helping me but I wanted to ask fro prayer...i may be losing my sight in my good eye. They already told me its a 'wait and see' game and that they can't be sure if I will or not. They just said you have to wait and there isn't anything they can do to prevent as it could make me blind and they don't want to risk it.
I won't really be on but please pray.
Thank you
Kunoichi

Just knowing that you're going to lose your sight is scary enough, but losing it is another @___@

Sorry to hear that, Kelly. I was hoping things would be looking up for you on my return to CAA.
I will be praying for you, my friend. I hope you are still able to come on CAA now and then --I've missed you and it is always such a blessing to talk to you.
With Christ, there is always hope. And God can still use you to do great things without your sight. There's a guy who sang at my church a couple of times who has no arms --but God gave him a heart for worship and that's what he does --he leads worship.
I know this is scary. Hang in there, girl. God's not done with you yet and He will make good out of this.
Edited to add: I just saw your other thread. Girl, don't give in to the lies that things are hopeless. In Christ, there is always hope even when things are at their darkest. You are loved and valued and have a great purpose. Take it one day at a time. God's not done working in your life.
Don't be afraid of your feelings --work through them and be honest with God and with people you trust. It will help. No, healing won't be instantaneous --it will take years. But gradually, you will heal bit by bit. And God can use your testimony, your story to reach others who have had the same thing happen to them --you can be a great example of how God can work in a life and turn it around completely. Don't give up, my friend. God has big plans for you.

Eye specialist said i have nystagmus (muscles in the eye are spasming..causing my vision to fluctuate rapidly and drastically). He doesn't know if it will ever stop and he will not do the surgery to fix it because he doesn't want to risk me going blind.
I am goign to try to see a doc thursday in order to determine if this is from migraines even though I have no headache. If the medicine for that doesn't work then I am goign to have to get a full neurological work up to determine the cause.
But at least I know it isn't my eyes. So thank you for the prayers!

hmm.. I hope everything goes well for you and that the problem can be solved!
Praise God it's not your eyes causing the trouble and therefore you're not going blind. ^^

I would give the neurologist a try. Your brain may be sending signals to the muscles in your eyes telling them to contract. There may be medication to help control the spasms.
I am currently on a muscle relaxer that I take at night to help my muscles calm down so I can sleep (I have cerebral palsy, so my muscles always spasm.) Maybe a med like that could help. Ask the doc.

Sheenar,
that may be a good idea. i am going to go to doc Monday to get MH meds. My agoraphobia is to the point where i'm pretty much housebound. And i can't control my own mental health much at this point. I have wondered about seeing an endocrynologist since they can help with the adrenal glands. Don't know yet.
But i will look into a muscle relaxer as well. Thank you!
