An Urgent Prayer for Congolese Women

I just watched a segment on 60 Minutes about the horrific acts of violence committed in the Congo against women. It's probably the most troubling and disgusting thing I've ever heard. Soldiers at war are atrociously raping women every day in order to ruin communities and families. Not just a few women; at least 90% in each village are attacked.

As a woman, I cannot describe how monstrous this is. Rape is terrible as it is, but using it to psychologically break down a family? Please pray that all of this will be resolved, that God will protect these women and give them strength. Pray for the Congolese Christians, that their faith may stay strong. Heck, pray for everyone there.

This hits close to home in terms of rape. Thankyou for protecting the lives of these women. Father Counsel them and remind them of your love. Father punish the wicked that are doing this and do not let the communities be destroyed due to this. Thankyou Father
