Prayer for a family of a former co-worker

The details are still coming in but a kid I trained at the store I work with was murdered Saturday night. The horrible thing, is that the police have already arrested his younger brother. There are a ton of rumors flying about what happened but all that has been verified is that Mike (the guy I knew at work) was killed due to several stab wounds to the chest. The brothers and there parents go to local church, so as you can imagine it has shook the community up pretty bad. I cannot even begin to wrap my mind around how much pain there parents must be in. If you guys could, pray for the Petrucelly family. The parents, and Mike and Enochs 2 sisters. And even Enoch. I don't even know how a brother could do what he did, but who knows what really happened.

Oh man that sounds horrible! It's a different thing when you actually know the person that got killed, isn't it? I'll be sure to pray for them.
So they don't know exactly what happned? Are they questioning the brother?
Whatever it was, if the brother did do it then there must have been some sort of argument. (I know that sounds like a well, duh "here's your sign" statement, but it does sound like that would be the case. Becasue several stab wounds does not sound like an accident.)
Who knows what the family is going through because as you said not only did one of their sons get killed, but by possibly the other son. I just find that even worse.

The police have already said Enoch is being charged. Now the question is simply why? What could cause something like this. I have a gut feeling that drugs were involved. I could never fathom killing your brother like that, not in a sober clear mind.

Dear Jesus,
We agree in prayer for the Petrucelly family. (the parents, Mike, Enoch and their 2 sisters). We don't know exactly what happened, but know they all need your help, the truth and wisdom in dealing with this situation. And whatever else is needed we pray for that too. In your name we pray,
Amen.
