my uncle
Well I found on tuesday or wednesday night that my uncle was killed in iraq. me and him were very close and it hurts my family very much that he is gone. I'm having a hard time with accepting that at the moment. I would like to ask for prayer for my family and me. If possible it would be great if i can get some advice on how to deal with this. Thank you.
Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.
He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.
He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:
"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."
The lord replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

Bless your heart....I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family are in my prayers...
And as for cooping....it's hard. I know how it feels to lose someone close to you. My advice is to stay close with God and your family....God'll see you through it.

I feel the pain of loseing my uncle no matter what. It seems to affect everything i do, even when im happy, I feel the pain and then my mood crashes down. T_T I don't know what to do, I feel so upset.

You never bring these things up with me and sara to help you michelle...why dont you tell us so we can help you through tough things like this..? o_o oh and this is kayla by the way.=D
