CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

This sounds like a dumb thing to pray about, but there's a massive heat wave going on in this part of the country, with a forecasted high tomorrow of 106 degrees. I (and many others I'm sure) do not have an adequate air conditioner, and it's 80 degrees in my apartment every day as it is. It's getting really hard for me to deal with, especially since I have to cook a lot and it really heats the place up.

So...please just pray that it would either get back down to a normal temp, or some kind of other solution will present itself. Because I don't know how much more of this I can take. Until Tuesday, I'm housesitting in an air-conditioned home, but after that...I don't know.

You have both my preayers and my sympathies! I will be praying for the heat wave to dissipate and for a better cooling system for you... I know how uncomfortable the summer heat can be, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone! Thank God you have a cool place to stay until Tuesday, at least...

Does your city have any cooling centers --places like the library, mall, etc. that you could go to during the hottest part of the day?
Dallas is expecting a high of 108 today and they're opening up cooling centers for people that do not have AC.
Going somewhere else for a while would at least give you a break from the heat for a while. Be careful. High temperatures can be dangerous.
