My brother

Dear friends, please remember my brother in your prayers. He is going to the doctor tomorrow because he has several swollen glands and frequent nosebleeds--this could be something small, like the stress of moving to college (he leaves to attend MIT in 2 weeks), but it could be something serious, like lymphoma. I'm a little shaken by this, so I would really appreciate all your prayers.

Dear Jesus,

We agree in prayer for Ashley's brother. Please heal him and don''t let whatever ailing him be dangerous. In your name we pray,
Amen

Well, this morning he was at the doctor's office; apparently, they found it serious enough to warrant some blood tests ASAP. He may have to enter the hospital this afternoon, or it could just be a virus. Please, keep praying!

You got it. He is a good kid, hopefully this is just something they can deal with easy enough.

Praise God, we have some good news. It looks like it's just a very acute infection, which will knock him off his feet for a while, but he will likely make a full recovery. It's definitely not cancer! My family and I are quite thrilled about this; thanks to everyone for praying--it really made a difference!
