CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Please pray for me becuase I am having some major issues with a girl on my dorm hall who judges people really harshly and she seems to dislike me a ton. I have tried everything to be nice to her and it all seems to make it worse. This past weekend it all came out in the open when we stopped talking altogether. I don't like things like this going on and I just want people to get along . . . Please pray that this will get resolved. I hate drama like this . . .

I will pray for you, Belldandy. Things like that are tough. Have you tried the direct approach--asking politely but assertively what happened to make her act as she does (of course, when the two of you are alone, not in front of a crowd)? I know, it might not resolve things, but it sounds like it wouldn't make things much worse either.

Shooraijin, no she ahsn't ever really given me any explaination, she I guess just doesn't like the type of person I am. She's super serious and I joke around all the time (not when its serious though).
Spiritsword, I have tried talking to her before and she just kinda brushes me off and gives me a dirty look and walks away. I have tried being nice, serious, funny and all sorts of things, and it doesn't work.
I have now come to the conclusion that I am happier stayign away from her and my friends all agree, she was making me really upset so we have been doing things on our own while she goes off with her friends. Its bad that we can't fix this, but I am at least less stressed. I am glad I do have friends though that are there for me^_^! The worst thing about this though, is the fact that this girl is a prayer leader on our hall and wants to be a spiritual life director next year! I am not the only one she treats this way, and I personally don't think she is spiritually capable to be in such a position with this attitude. *stopping rant* Sorry, but at least I tried, I just want to be friends with everyone and it doesn't always work . . .*sigh*, but at least I can move on. ^_^

I know what it's like to have someonenot like you alot and when you have to put up with that person alot.

Well, its been awhile since I first posted about this, and heres the update:
Its been pretty quiet. She talks to me sometimes, but I try to stay out of her way and don't really worry about her. So its better now and hopefully no more runins unless things get bad. Thanks for the prayers! ^_^

well, the other day she did it again . . . I don't know what she has against me, but she takes any chance she gets to jump down my throat. I am just staying away from her right now, and its working out better. Continue to pray for it all though. . .
