I just found out that my great aunt is in the hospital. She's in her 90s. Her kidneys have failed and she is not expected to make it. Please pray for her and for my family and I...I always called her "Grandmama" because she is like a grandmother to me.

I drove two hours both ways to see her last night...and I almost wish I hadn't gone at all. It was too much for me. At this point, I'm just hoping the Lord takes her home soon so she won't have to suffer anymore.

Its never easy to deal with the possible death/death of a loved one.

I know how very hard it is to see some one you love suffering so badly, my grandmother died last week of Kidney failure, among many other things and it was the single hardest thing I've ever had to live through. I loved her so much and I really pray that God will carry you through this, that His Will will be done and that you and your family will realise just how precious she is! Just like IchiTone said, treasure every moment, even though it's hard to see her like this.

Well, I just got a phone call from my sister...Grandmama passed away this morning at around seven.

I lost my grandfather in 2006 due to cancer and I was there when he pass away.
