Atheist might convert?

At another forum I go to, there use to be a girl who attended our Christian club. She was with us for I think some years, but then recently last year, got up and left.

Some weeks ago? I found out she was mocking us in her sig and even came in and started to stir up trouble. Although it was rather a pain, it did strike a cord with me. Why was she even watching the club to begin with? Something told me she still believed and I think I just got some more proof of that...

Now she's banned (not for coming into the Christian club, we actually settled that rather nicely, so I don't know what she got banned for), but she did send me a PM explaining how she was totally serious and asking why I believed in God.

Of course I would've responded, but even if I could have, unfortunately I don't own the world's "book of Christian evidence". We've all heard thousands of stories--information collected by archeologists, scientists, historians...there is SO MUCH proof of Jesus and what He did, plus of all the stuff that happened in the Old Testament (and that's not including all the prophecies that came/are coming true and whatnot). When science and historical evidence are all saying the same thing, then obviously it's real and I know that stuff would help her...

Plus I even know some personal stories dealing with healing (that medically speaking, SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED), plus an atheist having a near death experience and seeing hell (and what he described was even the Biblical version of hell. Darkness and whatnot).

But in the end, there's no way I can tell her this. Plus like I said, although some of this I can speak out of personal experience, or some of it I totally remember the information off the top of my head, a lot of it? Dang...unless you're one of those Biblical archeologists you aren't going to know everything. And even then you'll find some who are slow to find news. ^^:

Either way, as the title says...I think there's a strong chance the Lord can save her. Very much so. Just the way she acted towards me and some of the members...I think if anything, the only thing preventing her is that she's apparently a lesbian now or something. I just please beg of you to pray for her, because she needs it so bad.

Also it's not relating to her, but there was also another member who was a jerk. Acted about like he was fourteen or so...very bitter, dark, wanted the world to end, mocked us...don't know what happened with him, but I ask that you pray for him as well.

I'm so sorry, somehow I missed this. I'll pray for your friends. She has just as strong a chance to be saved as anyone. I pray that you may reach her even if you think your knowledge is limited. Numerous Christian evangelists thought they didn't have what it took to do things like this only to be proven wrong later, so if you do a little research for whatever info you lack, I'm sure you could be the one to lead her to the Lord.

If I may be so bold to suggest a few thoughts.

Sounds like she's not asking for factual proof. It looks like she asking you why you believe or became a Christian. Just answer her as simply & honestly as you can. Only explain your answer. And thank her for asking.

"P.S. Here's a few links if you wanted more scholarly information."

I'll try to dig some out for you. And edit it in here later.

Don't try to convince her. Only God can save, we're just the messengers.
