CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

OK, all, I can't go too into detail on this issue, as he has asked me not to tell anyone what he has confided in me, but a friend of mine is in need of some prayer very badly. First off, he's not a Christian, but he was (briefly), involved in some occult stuff because of his then-girlfriend, now Ex. Towards the end of their relationship, either he snapped, or a demon possessed him, one. I'm not sure which, and to be honest, neither is anyone else who knows about this. Whatever the case, he now has a completely different personality sealed up inside his head, which he calls Damien. He refuses to get help, because he is satisfied with the situation the way it is. I refuse to accept that, though I will not push the issue with him at the moment.

Please pray for him, I can't say anymore without him getting mad at me, and even this may be too much, but we're going to need all the help we can get.

Well if it's not a demon, I'd say he's VERY close to getting there...especially with the Damien thing. Not looking good at all...I'll definitely be praying for him...

I'll be praying as well. Keep close to him and try talking to him about it It sounds like one fo the things he needs the most is a friend

I pray for your friend (What's his name?) to get delivered from that demon or whatever it is.
Maybe you (or someone,maybe an exorcist) should pray over him, even if it's under your breath I think it might be worth a shot.

Two words: Be careful. It's highly possible that this is an actual demonic possession or at least a case of oppression. However, the way things sound it could be a possession. Be strong in the Lord and if possible talk to some other christian you trust about this situation like a pastor or like AJV said an exorcist.

Then again, I wouldn't recommend going up to your friend and saying "You suffer from a demonic possession", because well your friend may see a source of power in his "demon" and possibly even a friend. So guard yourself against the devil and his lies. Be praying for you.

This sounds bad... Listen, it may not be possession, but honestly, if this guy snaps again, I'd say you are obligated to seek help even if it means telling someone else. It may be skizophrenia, but whatever the case, something like this cannot be concealed, for the sake of others as well as himself.

Not to be a voice of dissent or anything, but it could also be multiple personality disorder or something like that.

Definitely keep praying and do not try to exorcise him yourself unless you are absolutely prepared to do so. As a matter of fact, I would leave that to someone who has experience with such things. It isn't something to play around with.

Very true. I've actually been part of one myself... (Not me being the one having the exorcism) Holy crap, was it scary.

While possession is entirely possible my cousin always had a saying, "When you hear hooves don't look for zebras." In other words, look for the more likely options first.

I agree with Etoh go though evry obivious option first and it will tae some time because I had to deal with this too and my friend eventually turned a little bit closer to God in the end but it took a year and a half

so be patient and wait on the LOrds timing

He's in my prayers! Poor guy. Hope he's back to himself soon. Hopefully God's listening to all our prayers.
