Betrayed and Heartbroken

I will refrain from details here, but a person I know has done a purely selfish thing that could cost me and others something very important. I considered this person to be a reliable friend, but this person has done something that I take personally and it hurts a great deal. Forgiving this person is hard, especially since they have smiled to my face the whole time. Please pray for my ability to love and forgive this person anyway, for the person, and for me because now I have to overcome the disadvantage that was significant to begin with.

I'll be praying, sis. I know what it's like to feel like you're unable to forgive someone you once trusted a lot. It's tough, but God can break through it.

I've gone through something like this...it feels as if you can't trust anyone after that. I will be praying for you DoubleShadow, that you will be able to find the right words to say to your former friend.
